The central story revolves around the character of Jace, a disturbed man troubled by encroaching visions and feelings that are not his own. He is plagued by a recurring nightmare in which his lost love, Ruth, is in danger of losing everything. He is forced to decide whether to save her or to do nothing. With every decision there is a moment in time when you can do something great or remain in the darkness.
Empathy is being produced by Abela Productions which is based in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. Central to the production team are Stephen Abela and Richard Dutton. Stephen began making films in Hollywood and has worked on projects around the world. He settled in Lincolnshire to pursue his filmmaking and business career. Richard has been making films from a very young age, writing and producing feature length movies and also various corporate videos. Lincolnshire doesn't have a thriving film industry but they both passionately believe that creativity and determination are the fundamental part of making a film anywhere.
